I still try new mixed media techniques. This time I decided to make mixed-media Easter eggs.
I bought real size styrofoam eggs and painted them with white gesso twice. Then I glued clay roosters and some bows and leaves. Next layer is rustic paint - Copper oxide color. The clay roosters I painted using rustic paint - Gray beige color, then I treated them with black gesso which I mixed with a little bit water and then I rubbed it gently with baby wipes. Last, I used Cooper goldpaste all over the eggs.
I hope you like my new experiment, I must say I am quite happy with the result.
