Birthday pop up card

For our lovely friend Agnieszka's 50th Birthday I have made a stuffed envelope using the Mintay Lady wet with shabby ribbons and co-ordinating die cut chipboards

The front of the large pocket has two layers of paper and then another pocket into which a decorated square envelope has been placed. The envelope itself measures approximately 10cm square when closed and holds a 9.5cm square card and is big enough to hold a gift card if wanted.

The front of this pocket has been decorated with papers from the collection a large die cut chipboard sentiment, a floral corner chipboard and some tiny fabric flowers bought at a retreat a while ago.

The base of the card/present is made using a set of dies but it has all been decorated with the papers. Instead of filling it with lots of little gifts I used the bigger pocket at the back to hold an 18cm high by 14.5cm wide tent fold card. Created by cutting a piece of white card 14.5cmwide by 42cm long and scoring at 18 and 36cm. The smaller flap was then adhered on the two short sides to create a pocket.

The front of the card has been embellished with elements from the paper collection, a piece of gauze, the flower heart chipboard from the same collection as the corner one used on the front pocket, a die cut chipboard sentiment, faux leaves and more fabric flowers.

Inside the card I filled the pocket with folded pieces from the topper page and added a pop up element to the back of the card.

I hope you like this idea for making a special card for the very special ladies in your life and now all that is left to do is to which Agnieszka Barska the happiest of days as she celebrated her birthday.
