Wedding window

There really is no specific season for celebrating ones love for one another and so I share with you a wedding assemblage project made with products available from the 14 Craft Bar website where the store owner has assembled a collection of beautiful products that make creating such items of home decor really easy.

I started with the plywood window picture frame. I cut backing pieces collection Grow Old with Me and adhered them to the back piece with glue. Before assembling the frame I colored the wood with vintage photo distress oxide.

I then fussy cut loads of the flowers and leaves from other papers in the collection and added them to the frame. I cut butterflies from the butterflies sheet. The bride and groom were created using a mold and air dry clay.

Having collected all of my bits and pieces together I added them to the frame using dimensional glue.

For additional texture I tucked in lots of pieces of greenery.

To finish the piece I added some carnations made from foamiran.
