When the holidays are over but there still are piles of papers from older and newer Christmas collections on your desk, it's time to think out of the box :) Well, yes, we can save them till the next year or repurpuse them let's say for ... wedding cards. Olga and Aggie from our DT chose the second option and agreed to create their version of winter wedding card from the same Christmas collection.

So I had a task to make a Christmas village, at first thought I said ahh it easy i will make something, then I sat down and said what will I make, how will I make. So I went online and there I found my inspiration and decided to do a pink village.
The houses I stenciled with structure paste but you can use modeling paste. Then I primed with white chalk paint and went in with pink Chalk paint and coloured with dry brush technique. The snowmen are made out of Air dry clay and have crochet hats. The round wood like walkway is made with mold and air dry clay aswell. The wreath was green with a red bow, I took the bow of, covered the wreath with snow paste and added silver stars and Styrofoam balls.

I'm keeping up with my resolution to be ready with Christmas cards and presents well in advance this year. Therefore I'm using all my imagination and some previous-season craft stash to get that proper Christmas inspiration in the middle of golden autumn. How about a snow-fresh card with my favourite Georgian doors made of lightweight polymer clay?!
