Autumn Wedding Card with Foamiran Flowers

 Hello, my dears!

Autumn is a beautiful time for weddings. Even though orange, crimson and yellow might feel not quite bridal colours at first, they make beautiful palette for early autumn celebrations. And of course if you can't find proper flowers in those not so common colours, you can always create some by your own using foamiran :)

Two Become One - wedding shadow box

 MONDAYS WITH GILL

Weddings have been delayed for so many this year but that means when they do take place they are that extra bit special. For this post I am sharing with you a 3D project that doubles as a card and a keepsake.

The base of my piece is formed from a chipboard shadow box  which has opening windows shutters. I constructed the box leaving off the windows using Magic glue and then cut pieces of paper from the Love Me Forever paper collection to fit all of the surfaces.

I then adhered paper to one side of the window pieces and left it to dry before cutting out all of the apertures. I then repeated this on the other side before adhering some lace from my stash to the inside edges thereby creating faux curtains.

I created my diorama by adding some tags cut from the paper pack on to the back of the box using scrap cardboard to lift them off the surface. On top of these I adhered a really intricate floral chipboard wreath cutting it into two pieces so that a little peaks out from the left side of the groom and then some cheesecloth.

My bride and groom were cut from one of the 12 x 12 papers and shaped using my hands before being adhered in place. I added more pieces of lace around the edge of the crinoline skirt - tucking in small pieces for added texture and to bring an even more feminine feel to my piece.

I chose a mixture of two flowers to adorn my box - Mooonlight flowers by Little Birdie and small fabric flowers.

I added some dimensional pearl drops to the centers of the flowers on the chipboard wreath and around the frame and a scattering of pale iridescent sequins to the brides dress

I attached the windows to the front of the box using metal hinges before adding my chipboard sentiment "Two becomes one".

September Kit - Mr & Mrs exploding box

Hello friends,
We can feel autumn in the air but in September we are still in the wedding mood. Today I'm coming to show you a delicate and elegant wedding exploding box. To make it I used beautiful papers from Wedding Madness 01 but I also mixed slightly embellishments from two kits. The new type of exploding box is with two lovely pockets. You can decorate them and put tags with some nice words or some money. It is a lot of possibilities. I love them - pockets in my box are
decorated with sewed papers and cut out paper elements.
Hope you enjoy it!

In the middle of the box I put beautiful chipboard - wedding couple. I made a wedding dress for bride using lace and a lot of tiny sequins.

Pink Peony

  Hello, my dear friends!

My first entry for the new season is this beautiful pink peony made of foamiran. Every single petal was shaped using a 14 Craft Bar flower mask. I hope to see your flowers made with the same stencil in our blog.
