Traveller's notebook autumnal cover

 Hello lovely people!!

I am starting a new traveller's notebook and thought it would be fun to decorate the plain kraft cover. I have used die cuts from the Mystery ephemera, Cut aparts some Shabby ribbon and Embroidered flower. I added some layers with the Junk journal kit I love the dimension created with the elements without adding too much bulk to the front of the journal.

Autumnal Psalter Journaling

 Hello lovely people!!

Today I am bringing you some journaling in my Psalter. I loved how the Summer Studio Mystery papers created the autumnal theme. I also used Liquarel watercolours in cold gray to create some foliage in the background and some Stamping to add further detail. I created a pocket from some velum for some hidden journaling and created a collage using elements from the Junk journal kit.

Nature themed journaling

 Hello lovely people!

Today I am bringing you a nature themed junk journal spread in my travellers notebook. 

I made a pocket using a vintage book page to hold some tags and other ephemera. I used various items from the Junk journal kit to create a collage background. I fussy cut some Butterflies and I used some of my favourite Stamps and Washi tape to add some details to the background. 

I am LOVING these new Binder clips to secure my pages while working on them (plus they look super cute!)

 

Primrose folio

  Hello lovely people!!!

I am here today with a folio created using two large window envelopes as the base. I used papers from the Primrose paper collection which might be one of my favourite ever collections! I created some journaling cards with the collection perfect for writing some of my thoughts. I created a large journaling card and a tag with a collage made from elements from the Junk journal kit.  I used the Outsider script stamp to add some interest to the background of some of the elements. And of course a 

Shabby ribbon to close the folio.

Spread your wings junk journaling

  Hi lovely people!!

Today I am bringing you some junk journaling with a theme of  "spread your wings." I have made lots of journaling cards and hidden pockets so that I have room to reflect on this prompt.

I used lots of elements from the amazing Junk journal kit. I embellished one of the journaling cards with a Dragon fly stamp which I embossed - love how it turning out! I also added some depth to the background with Postal service stamp and a Long floral stamp.

I made a notch to create a small tuck spot for some hidden journaling using the Circle punch

I used two of my favourite washi tapes Vintage washi and Butterfly washi to add some splashes of interest to the page.

The Sentiments used are from Cardboard inscriptions.

Creative stationery design fun

 Hello lovely people!!!

One of my favourite things that I have started up again during lockdown last year is penpalling. There is nothing like getting a handwritten letter through the post, especially when my penpals send me letters on paper and envelopes they have designed and decorated themselves. 

Today I am showing how versatile the craft products can be to create different styles from simple and sophisticated, to bright and cheery and my personal favourite - junk journal style. I love how they turned out and are ready for writing my letters this month.
