Flower hairband

Hello dear friends!

Today I would like to show you something very special for me. It is a project made with love and passion. I just love this super cute girl's hairband that plugs in many beautiful foamiran flowers, some extra light clay flower leaves and pretty mini fruits. I am sure it will embellish some beautiful hair.

Hi everyone!

I am back today, after holiday, with one beautiful set for christening.

It is composed from tiara for baby , hairpins for mom, daughter and godmother.

I made them with yellow anemones, lilаc peonies and lavender, who I made from iranian foumiran.

For girl's birthday

Hello everyone!

      Today I would like to share with you the flowers I made for a friend’s little girl. For her 5th birthday, Kami received a special present from her mum : a magic wand, tiara & skirt embellished with foamiran flowers. I am proud of what our team effort achieved - priceless happy smile.

Hi guys, I thought I'd show you today a Hairband I've created using some of the fabulous products from 14 Craft Bar,

I started off with one of the brilliant Hairbands onto which I wrapped some white ribbon round, these are available from 14 Craft Bar as well as the Foamiran used,

I made the Roses using the Multi flower dies, 

The buds were made suing the 2nd sized up die and 002 Ecru Foamiran, I added a little colour to the top edges of one of the buds with a  No 39 Pental oil pastel,

The medium sized Rose shown above was made using the 2nd and £rd sized dies, using 007 pale pink Foamiran,

the larger Rose was made using the 3rd and 4th sized petals and  007Pale Pink Foamiran, I used some oil Pastel to colour more of the petals while the middle petals I kept to the 007 Foamiran,

I hand cut some leaves out of 020 Olive Foamiran which I coloured on the edges with  the oil pastel too,

My Granddaughter couldn't wait to put it on!!! Lol

As you may be able to see from the picture above, I used white floral tape on the wires so they matched with the white ribbon and therefor didn't show as much,

Hairband with foamiran flowers and a tutorial

Hi, DT Henriette here today. I've made my first hairband with foamiran flowers.

Here is a step-by-step photo tutorial on how I made the little flowers.
For the flowers I used the smallest and the medium sized die from the Flower set 3.

For each flower I die cut two flower shapes with the same die. 

I used my cuttlebug to die cut the flower shapes, you can easily die cut 4 layers of foam at once.

Then I hold one flower shape to the pre-heated iron (2 dots heated) for a few seconds.

With a modelling tool I press the flower shape in a sponge. 

I did the same with the second flower shape but this time I turned the warm shape the other way before pressing it into the sponge. It gets a different shape this way.

To make the center of the flower I put a few stamens between a piece of flower wire.

Then I pierce this through the two flowers.

With a hot glue gun I put some glue on the bottom of the flower to make sure the stamens stay in place. Finally I cut of the wire.

I made 3 larger flowers and about 17 smaller ones in 3 colors, white, red and dark pink. For the leaves I used a leave die and olive green foam.

Before gluing the flowers and leaves on the head band I wrapped white florist tape around the band, but you can also use ribbon for that.

I'm going to give this hairband to my neighbor girl who is 4 years old, she will look cute with it.
